Trouble downloading latest version of BASPM

I have been having tremendous trouble upgrading to 1.1. I followed all your suggestions in the forum, but no luck. So then I deleted the game and was going to try to reload it as 1.1, but it turns out that I cannot download it anymore. Where is the link to download v. 1.1? Or even 1.0 at this stage, I have nothing on my computer right now!

Hello einarson,

Welcome to the forums! I'm assuming you are using the version bought in our store (i.e., you're not using the Steam version). If that's the case, then you should have the 1.0.0 installer lying somewhere on your hard drive. Reinstall the game using said installer and, when launching the game, you should be able to update the game from the game launcher.

If you don't have the 1.0.0 installer, please send an e-mail to support at slitherine.co.uk and they will send you a new download link right away.

Have now downloaded the game and have upgraded to 1.1, so am happy. I achieved a moon landing with US, easiest setting, at 1970 Q2

Had to reinstall the game into a new PC as old hard drive collapsed. I got it all set up and the update game file will not work-says having trouble reading FTL file. Attempting to use manual download results in long time to download and often disconnects.

It finally downloaded without interruption and is running fine. I did see the other download link and used that. It was just a question of the download speed and time for the download to complete. Once it happened, installation was easy. Thanks
