root moving behind rooters

Post by krieg63 »

Strange to see a rooted unit moving behind the rooters.
Of course the routers was oblige to pursue and was take by rear during the following turn....
Would be nice to prevent those move, at least, stop the pursuit

I am not sure what you mean. Routed units cannot pursue routers.

Fragmented units can. Is that what you meant? If so, that is intentional - our view is that the excitement of winning the combat is sufficient to make them pursue even though they are Fragmented.

Unit 1 was routed by unit 2.
Unit 1 dosn't retreat, instead she move behind unit 2.
Unit 2 was oblige to turn to folow unit 1.
Behind unit 1 there were other unit.
So unit 2 was take by rear by thoses other unit.
Hope I'm more clear

Yes, that does seem rather harsh if the troops blocking the move directly away from the pursuers were friendly.

We are looking into the issue of weird evades/routs for a future patch.
