campaign missions feedback

I didn't know where to put that, so I started a new thread for everything campaign related :
Act 1 Mission 1 Patrol
- I got no deployment phase and I was unable to purchase units for campaign Act1 mission 1(patrol). Is it normal?
Act 1 Mission 2 Pre emptive
- The mission objective of act 1 mission 2 is very unclear ( preemptive) : Which edges I am supposed to put units on? The victory edge really should be highlighted IMO( I still have not been able to pass the mission because of it, as I tried the edges closest to the Hive).
- Is it normal that the Squigoth units start with only 1 out of 3 squiggoths?

When you begin a new campaign at a pre-set entry point, yes you do not get a deployment phase. You are given units as they have been pre-defined. I believe there is a possibility for this to change (it was highly requested from Panzer Corps, and 40k multiplayer plans also rely on a fresh scenario having a purchase and deployment phase) but I cannot make that promise on my own.

As for scenario 2, yes it is quite unclear. I'll see about re-requesting assets to mark maps properly.

As for some units appearing under or overstrengthed, yes this is absolutely intended, in an attempt to provide good unit variety early in the game without giving them full strength which is potentially too difficult for the player to handle so early on. The first Macharius enemy tank in the tutorial similarly has 1 unit count for this reason.

Not sure if this belongs here, but I will give it a go.

Last night I gave the mission "Rout" (I think) a try as a scenario, not part of the campaign. This is the mission where you have to get the captured Warboss across the map.

I played the game and the orks are just too overwhelming. I fought hard crossing the map, but in the end everything was dead. Except the transport with the Warboss. That had not been deliberately shot at. Ever. It strolled to the edge of the map and Victory! Seems like there might be a bug here. The orks never fired on the vehicle with the captive warboss. Therefore it was able to drive across the map and claim victory even with every other Imperial unit dead. While that would suck in a campaign, it works for the scenario. But it seems like it really shouldn't. Is this as intended?

The Warhammer 40K games all need more T'au Empire units.
