Game crash beta 2

At the deployment phase of mission two i wanted to check if i could upgrade some of my core units.

This is what appeared in the log:

I'm still unable to reinforce damaged units from the first mission.

Next crash when i want to go to the main menu during gameplay of the second mission:

That first crash seems similar to what happened to me. I went to buy a new unit at the start of the 2nd scenario of the tutorial (the on with the plants) and my game crashed pretty much the same way. It worked fine the next day when I reloaded.

On a sidenote, the game crashes a lot less on my laptop(Windows 8.1, default install directory, GT720M GPU) than on my desktop(Windows 7 64 Pro, users is on D:, game is not on C: nor D:, GTX 650 GPU I think. The other characteristics, like CPU and memory are the same as my laptop : i5-2.6GHz, 4GB RAM )
