Bayfog VI Average Joe results
A very close competition this year with 8-10 people all in the running for places going into the last game.
Malcolm Gordon's fabulous third place shows that, on average, staying out drinking one night until 1am does get you good results.
On the other hand Phil Powell's performance as winner of the Average Joe trophy shows that, on average, staying out drinking till 2am on two nights in succession only gets you an average result.

Based on my Sunday results perhaps I should play all my games with a monster of a hangover. Mind you my last remaining brain cell might object.

Looks like a clear win for the bow-armed armies.

Alan, after seeing the armies involved I was thinking Kofun Nara weren't a wise choice.
Luckily I faced Early Successor, Later Achemaenid Persians, Classical Indian and Early Scots so kept out of the way of the Dailami.
In the 3rd round it was a toss up whether I faced the dailami and thankfully Paul J took pity on me and let me spank some elephants.
I would enjoy trying the same field and using Dailami to see if I could do any better than the generals who were using them.

Thanks to Dave M, Chris P, John H and Marco for 4 super games and to Paul for running the show. The last was a ding dong bows v eles and the grey beasts came out on top.
An special mention for Chris Proudfoot who charged in with 6 unit of auxilia and 1 legionary of whom only 2 were disrupted. After the IMPACT combat all but 2 had routed. Double drops a plenty
Well done Rob
