Multiplayer games not so multi?

Hello gentlemen, while being extremely pleased with the pc version of Pike and Shot, i'm a bit puzzled by
the lack of non private multiplayer games (actually none...). Is this the trend of multiplayer games;
just playing with friends?
(I'm aware i can start one myself^^)

Most games are non private but accepted so fast you don't see them. Post a public challenge and it will get accepted in minutes. The only ones left are the ones people cant join because they are public!

Yeah, I've found hoping one is available when you log in is pretty futile - best to create one yourself and wait for it to be snapped up almost immediately
