Unable to Dowlnoad Latest Update

I go to the update button and select it from the BASM menu. It states there is an update to the program-latest one 1.0.0. I then select update and receive an error message "unable to download file-an error occurred while trying to open an FTP file.

Hello bill,

I'm going to check with the Production guys. Notice that SPM 1.0.0 will be a new installer altogether, not an update. All Early Access adopters will be able to download it on October 30th.

The installer states it is for the new version 1.0.0 and you download it when you begin the update process. However as stated it refuses to access the FTP file from Slitherine.

I'll check with the production guys on Monday. Don't worry a lot, since version 1.0.0 is not meant to be available until Thursday anyway. I'll check with them on Monday and get back to you.

Thanks. A previous posting said it would be available for download earlier than that and also any other updates. I will wait until it is officially posted to the page.

Yes, you're right. My original plans were to release lots of small patches during October. Unfortunately some unexpected things showed up that prevented me from doing that, so I decided to release all the patches in one go as version 1.0.0.

Anyway, it's less than five days now and I believe you'll like the released version, since we managed to tie up all the loose ends

The 1.00 update is a false alarm. It is part of the final release preparations, You will receive a full new installer for 1.00 at release and once you have this the update message will go away. There will be no update to go from the early access to the final release. You will need the full final installer. Sorry for any confusion.
