PD not working on archers

I've been using a Tudor army, but finding that the PD Personal defence on archers isn't working in the game so I can't set up stakes despite paying for them on the unit, any ideas what's wrong?

I just tested this using a Tudor army, stakes appear to work fine...

Are you sure your buying "stakes" and not "field fortifications" ?

@greymouser yep definitely PD as part of the unit, should be integral to the unit, my right click on the mouse works fine with everything else but when i right click on the archers I only get the option of changing facing not laying stakes.

Hmmm, well if your sure you bought PD the only things I can think of are: did you move the unit ist? change facing or shoot? (placing/picking up stakes needs be done ist) You can also lose your stakes if you have em placed then move w/o picking up..
(this was a DAG army right? not a scenario you d/l ?)

Nope, it's just not working, I'm on an IMAC, could it have something to do with that? Interestingly this has only started happening in the last couple of weeks, has always worked until now? a bug?

The same is happening to me with PD. I've stopped using them. Another weird quirk is that I just can't kill baggage. In a number of games I get to unprotected baggage early and spend the rest of the game there.

OK PD is working now, couldn't "tick it" before, but is getting selected now.

Are you sure that the archers where you had the problem were bought with PDs? You can buy them either way in DAG and it costs 1 point more a piece to buy them with PD. It's something you toggle in the DAG and it's generally for all or none of the archers.

Has anyone sorted this out?

I'm playing a tournament game against Charles Robinson and I'm having a similar problem.

Firstly, when I deploy stakes I can't see the stakes graphic. The only way I can tell if a unit has stakes deployed is to click it and see if I get the option to pack stakes.

Secondly some archers don't have stakes. Somewhat embarrassing when you march them out in front enemy knights. I don't think I moved them away from their stakes but that is a possibility since I couldn't see the stakes graphic.
