Firing question.

Post by stormbringer3 »

Certain units can move then fire. However, the same unit will lose all APs if it fires first therefore it's unable to move. I'm curious as to the thinking behind this. In many other titles using the AP system, as long as you have the required number of APs for an action it doesn't matter in what order you use them. I really like the game.
Thanks for any opinions.

Firing is 50% more effective if a unit is stationary (units that don't move fire at 120% effectiveness, units that move fire at 80% effectiveness). It would not make much sense to give this bonus and then allow the unit to move after it has fired.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Because of the bonus it makes perfect sense.
