What happened to the battle ambient music

Hello, was using BA2 early access and absolutely loved the sounds of battle ambient music. Steam updated me to the proper BA2 release and now I hear actual music music?! What gives? is there any way to get the battle ambiance back?

The ambient music was there just because we didn't have the real music yet . If you miss it and still have the EAP installed, you can grab the mp3 files from the MUSIC folder and rename them to replace the in-battle music should you desire.

Sweet! I doing in process of doing that when you replied.

My only suggestion if not too annoying in the next update perhaps folks can have the choice to select music vs. battle ambiance. I gotta say, it really makes a difference during actual game play, it adds a real combat vibe to the game whereas the music gives it more of a saving private ryan cinematic vibe.

Update: I found my copy of the BA2 EAP and reinstalled, grabbed the music files and uninstalled it again. Sweet! I like the ambient sounds of battle when playing BA2.

@butterforce: can you make this available to us for use? I didn't keep my EAP install file.

I will add some way to do optional music changes to my wishlist.
