15mm Castilian (what figs)

Post by meledward23 »

So what manufacturers have these?

And of course any comments about quality and such is always welcome.

I am not all that familiar with this group. I haven't looked for an osprey book on them yet, but I hope there is one. If anyone has any suggestions on good text for them as well, I would gladly hear it.

Thanks.

Very well. Since the initial posting of this I have found the following:

for figures:
Essex figures, Later Medieval: Spanish http://www.essexminiatures.co.uk/frames15med.html

and for Text:
El Cid and the Reconquista 1050-1492 (Men-At-Arms, No 200)

I have purchased the El Cid Men At Arms book and anxiously await it's arrival.

My follow up questions:

1) Between this figure range and that book, will the army historically reflect the army as intended in Storm of Arrows?
2) Anyone aware of another text I should consult?

It is my intention to try and create a spectacular quality army for this list. Via painting standards, accuracy of figures, color choice, etc. Thereby any further resources that anyone can recommend for me to consult would be a valued compatriot in the world of tabletop gaming.

Best Regards,
