I actually won by a general attack largely across whole front but focused on very narrow sectors. Main axis was against English center including knights, which was able to gain a foothold on level ground early on and then became war of attrition French could win there. There were also pinning attacks on English left/right while, like you and Lydianed, attacks around the flanks won the day.Londo wrote:Pool A, Group C

In Poitiers, I assembled the French knights together, and they attacked through the forest on the French left, and then swung round into the flank of the English position on the hill. The spearmen didn't do much. This was the only way I could see for the French to have a chance. Did anyone have a different strategy for the French which worked?
I can take his place on later antiquity.stockwellpete wrote:macsen has been forced to withdraw as he has no internet access at the moment. Therefore, there are now vacancies in the following sections . . .

High Middle Ages Division A
Themed event Pool A, Group B.
I will take up some of these gaps myself (particularly HMA and the themed event) unless there is someone else who is interested in them. Please let me know promptly if you are interested. Thanks.
