Would a 25mm general be too strange in a 15mm army?
Would a 25mm general look too strange in a 15mm army? I was thinking of using a 25mm figure in a 15mm army so the CinC would stand out easily but wondered what people thought of the idea.
Depends on your definition of strange.
The esteemed Mr Porter (www.madaxeman.com) has already done it

Why do I find a sentence containing "strange" and "Mr Porter" not at all unusual...hammy wrote:Depends on your definition of strange.

You could of course try a 20mm figure or even better a 15mm figure on a elevated base.
It would not stand out as much as a 25mm figure but on the other hand it would have the benefit that you would not need to provide tournament organisers with a declaration of sanity each time you want to enter

Never underestimate a stone, even when carrying a gun.

If you're doing a New Kingdom Egyptian army, then a 25mm general would be perfect. If you look at this wall painting for Kadesh http://nefertiti.iwebland.com/kadesh_battle_picture.htm, the Pharaoh is 25mm, or even 54mm, in comparison to the rest of his troops.
