iOS BA 2.70 Display Issues - iPad 4th gen

Hello, I am coming back to BA after a long absence. I have seen quite a few display related issues (tap the screen to move/target and the map jumps to another location, unrelated to the tap; Sometimes the pop-up order menus are VERY slow to pop up or take input; enemy info palette is scrolled through between turns' etc.) and am just curious if they are going to be addressed. I do not recall seeing anything like this "in the old days."

iOS 7.1.2 (and hoping to stay there, unless iOS 8.0.2 will fix the issues).
