My last Carth army
FC
2 x TC
4 Armd Gallic cav
4 Prot Spanish cav
4 Liby-Phoen cav
2 x 4 Numidians
2 x 6 Africans
2 x 6 Spanish scutarii
2 x 8 Gauls
2 Elephants
6 Baleares
2 x 8 javelinmen
Lost to Seleucids (if there is a super army so far this possibly it) by 2 attrition points. Not bad considering all the superior and elite troops I was facing.

Trust me, Later Seleukid is far from being a super army - mine was trashed in short order by a Wars of the Roses army last week

A suggestion to all... post what point total you are going for. I could guess but don't want to!malekithau wrote:My last Carth army

Malekithau, I like your list overall. IMO, the cartho list is less impressive on the 'shootiness', good at the infantry and cav level. I think of the african vets are the anvils and the cav/elephants as hammers. With that in mind I would reduce the LF and increase the Africans bases. Especially, if you are not using the vets with the better armor. I would also add another TC and/or upgrade to a IC. 12 MUs is a lot in a tight battle formation but nothing once things spread out.
