Where the game keep it saved file?, and can you make less penalty for failed mission for example my Sputnik-Korable lost 16% it for failed reentry, it has 66% efficiency and Vostok rocket 94

Hello Pawelk,

You can find the saved files at the following location :

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\LocalLow\MatrixGames\BASPM

Notice that the amount of safety lost during a failure of a mission component is proportional in an inverse fashion to that component safety level. Also, R&D is much easier at 60% that at say, 85%. That means that a failure of a 94% safe Vostok rocket will have litte impact, maybe a few percent. A 70% safe component will lose much more, but that amount will also be easier to recover. :)

Have fun !

Thanks BASPM is really cool game i love space games like BASPM or KSP (i have both :-) )

I just want to recreate Gagarin flight i have already 1961 in game, i want to send cosmonaut but first i want do this bis-sat mission to make capsule safer.
After successful bio sat i want send cosmonaut to orbit skipping unmanned tests.

We're really happy you enjoy it ! :D

Personally I also like BARIS (which is a bit BASPM spiritual ancestor) and Orbiter (that last is more a simulator).

Yeah, launching Korabl-Sputnik (uncrewed Vostok) might be good plan. You'll also probably need to perform the uncrewed suborbital mission as skipping is penalty-heavy. But with those two, you should definitively be OK to attempt manned orbital flight ! Serguei Korolev himself, which was also Yuri's friend, wrote in his memories he was very anxious the day of Vostok 1, because he estimated the mission had an overall 60% chance of success ! So... :)

When i was kid i played BARIS day by day, it was my favorite game, i'm not rich but i always buy games related to space, that why i buy both KSP, BASPM, and Take on Mars.
When i was playing BARIS i often constantly reload saved file to be able to complete mission. I remember that i was only several time was able to make lunar landing before 1970.

As for Korolev i heard that Yuri Gagarin was more than just friend for him, but like step-son for him, and Gagarin treated Korolov as step dad, that during fatal air-crash when he died, he beside photo of his family, he also had photo of Korolev
