A few questions

I purchased during the early access. Now, there is a $10 discount. So I (and other ea purchasers) just lost out on the discount? That doesn't seem right somehow.

In the random skirmish game, is there a way to have infantry type units only?
I can't seem to get reinforcements to work.

No, because the EAP price was $30, which is the same as the discount now. The normal price is $40.

At the moment you can't have infantry only armies, however the army list system is very moddable so you could add a specific army list for say a Para unit, or go small scale and do a specific infantry company and its supports and create an emeny version for it to play against.

I don't know what you mean with reinforcements?

I'll take a look at modding an infantry list.

Reinforcements is toward the bottom of the advanced options in the skirmish setup. After posting I found (accidentally) it will work with a random force selection but not with a specific choice. I haven't seen any explanation of how it works and why it works only with random.

Also, it looks like tactical bonuses aren't available in skirmish or did I miss something there?

I think the skirmish is a great addition and I'll probably play it more than scenerios.

Ok - let us know if this is a one off or every time you choose a pre-set force it doesn't work.

The last couple of weeks (and the next few) I've been pretty busy and have just been fooling around with the game trying different things. With the skirmish I used only mech (5-6 times) and won't get around to anything else for a while. It never worked with mech and so I thought it didn't work at all. I looked at it accidentally in random and it worked.

So, since you didn't mention, it looks like tactical bonuses aren't available in skirmish. Here's a suggestion for an update or xpack:

An option to add tac bonuses to a skirmish scenario. Choice of 1-2-3 for each side separately. Actual bonuses chosen randomly.

I'm pretty sure you are supposed to get bonuses in skirmish games. I will take a look and try and work out what is going on. They may only be active in certain setups.

Pip, I just checked again and, unless I'm going blind (could be, I'm having 3 eye surgeries soon), it isn't there.

Another option for implementation would be the user choice on or off. Then the game randomly chooses 0-1-2 for each side separately.

It appears we only get bonuses in SP skirmish - no bonuses in MP skirmish so far.

I am wrong. Got Tac bonus on 3rd turn in MP game, so it works
