Barbarossa Campaign Question & Observation

Post by IronFist00 »

My friend and I played through the Operation Barbarossa campaign through co-op (it was a great experience too) and we noticed that in multiplayer you were offered 8 missions, up until "Ambush!" while in single player there's is a 9th mission called "Typhoon." Any reason that isn't available for co-op play?

Another thing we noticed is that in my campaign menu I show all the Achievements we accomplished when my friend looks at his, he doesn't see any done. The only difference is that I always create the challenge and he joins. Regardless shouldn't both of us get credit for the Achievements? I'm figuring the is bugged.

While playing it looks like the following Achievements are bugged. Our definition of bugged is we know we completed the Achievement and yet it wasn't awarded after completing the mission with a win:

The Monster - "Win wIthout losing a single Engineer unit."
The Leningrad Line - "Destroy 52 units."

I posted proof in another thread regarding those so I won't do it again. Can anyone from Slitherine confirm they will be fixed in release? I am willing to play these missions again but want to make sure the Achievements are obtainable. We've played those I listed multiple times and should have been awarded them each time and weren't.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think those fixes made it in to the release version, as we begin building and testing significantly before release. If a mission is not available in Coop then it is usually because the balance or setup doesn't work for it.
