Far in the future, factions from the Milky Way are forming a military coalition. Their target: The Empire of the Machines, a fearsome robotic authority that endangers the whole galaxy. In Legions of Steel, players will control a squad of elite human troopers sent behind the enemy lines to eliminate the threat at the source. Alternatively, they will be able to lead the robots through the dark and cold corridors of the Machine’s undergrounds to repel the Human offensive.
Directly inspired from the board game of the same name, Legions of Steel is a fast-paced and thrilling tactical game in which every move can change the outcome of a battle. Analyzing the maps, planning orders wisely, selecting the right tactical options and reading the opponent’s mind will be necessary to not be outmaneuvered by the enemy. Both sides are equipped with ranged weapons, so only the players able to identify the best cover and the key lines of fire will have a chance to survive in this futuristic world.
Thanks to 2 single-player solo campaigns, hotseat and skirmish modes, various multiplayer scenarios and a gameplay that both captures the essence of the original board game and introduces new features to adapt the game to modern standards, Legions of Steel is the digital adaptation that the fans of tactical sci-fi games were waiting for!
