Download error while updating

I attempted to run the updater a couple of times and each time it ended with a download error. The progress bar reached 100% but when it attempts to run the update, the attached error occurs every time.

I have been able to get 0.7.25 from the Matrix Games site.

It is strange,you tried to disable windows firewall or disable antivirus suite/antivirus firewall and retry update

I updated the the updater, tuned off the windows firewall and windows defender-same message after the download reached 100%. I tried again and saw the patch, baspm-UpdateComp-v0725.exe, being downloaded into the ..\Slitherine\Buzz Aldrin's Space Program Manager\Patches folder, then it disappeared when the error message appeared.

Sorry we can't be much helpful on these situations. Usually problems with the update are caused by the Internet security programs or router configuration.
But can you tell me where is the game installed?

I had the same issue, right clicking on the icon on your desktop and selecting run as admin solved it, it's at the end of the download right? so when it tries to start actually installing to the disk your privileges are blocking it causing the error.

I've run it as admin, it makes no difference. The install fails right after the download is finished. Could you please post a link to the patch file, so I can download it manually? I am truly tired of the 10+ attempts to install this through the updater.
