Italy or Kursk Vanilla

In the vanilla panzer corps after a DV at Stalingrad you get a choice either to go to Italy or Kursk
What choice would be the best? I though it is Italy to avoid bagration

Italy is probably the easier path, but Kursk will allow you Moscow 43 which can avoid Bagration (Kursk - Moscow - Overlord)

I'll let you decide
