Only if he wins best painted .And theirs no way I am painting a 25mm army for this !!! 28mm maybe 32mm sure 40mm yeah ok but No way 25s.

Pyrrhus, I don't know if you're still reading this, but here goes anyway.

I live in Denver myself, and would be very interested in playing - if you can wait a bit for me to get an army ready.

I have a LOT of 28mm Caesarian Romans. They're all cleaned and based, but aren't painted yet. I could easily make a "Late Republican" starter army with them.

I'm also strongly considering buying a 15mm Mid-Republican Roman army. I'll have to clean, base, and paint them.

Yes !! I have started on my upscaling my pyrrhic army from DBA So I have lots to paint aswell .All my figures are in 15mm FYI .But I want to learn these rules so much that I am willing to push green army men around if I have too. be warnede I am a slow painter but I will proxy anything .I just want to get playing and that will speed up my painting

Very cool; I'll order those 15mm Mid-Republican Romans this afternoon.

I have a wife and family, so it may be a little while before they're ready - but the sooner I start, the sooner I'll have them finished.

Also - I'm in the Attactix (the store) "Flames of War" group, and a couple of them might be interested in a game as well. I'll pass this along to them.

And I've ordered the army.

I bought an "Army Deal" from Oldglory15s, basically the "Mid Republican Roman Starter Army" from the rulebook. I also bought a comparable number of figures - essentially doubling the army deal - from Navigator/Magister Militarum. Essentially this gives me a big army with a bunch of guys with different poses. Now to count the days until they get here...

Sounds great !!! the more the merrier . I have just really started aswell so lost of pikemen .just got some new diamond files they work get on the mold lines and flash .gotta read the rules again .Perhaps we can proxy a game or two with something ? lety me know otherwise it might be two years before my army's painted

Hey, take your time - I just ordered my Romans yesterday, so it will obviously be a while before they're done.

I'm just glad to find someone nearby that wants to play a Pyrrhic army! I was wondering if I'd ever find a historical opponent for Republican Romans without breaking down and buying a "loaner" army of Carthaginians...!

Pyrrhus, if you're following this - two of the other people from the Attactix group have bought and started armies; one Late-Republican Roman and one Carthaginian.

That sounds great ,I saw somewhere here a topic on paper armys .(I need a new printer) I thought this might be a great fast way to get us playing .What day at attactix's do you guy guys meat? I will swing by if I can to meat eveybody .I only just got my stuff primed work has me a little behined on my painting duties.patrick
