Couple of questions

Post by rich12545 »

The font in the unit box in the main screen is very small. Can it be made bigger?

Units move instantaneously from the origin to the destination. Can the unit movement be shown?

Thank you.

I'm not sure we could fit in all the information with a larger font, but I will check with the artists :)

Units do not move instantly - not sure what you mean. Do you mean in deployment?

Cheers

Maybe it's just my computer with 8.1. The units move either instantly or too fast to see. I've tried to reduce game speed to the minimum and that doesn't help. The font is very small. I have to go out but will try to post a screenie when I return. The game is nice and the random is great.

Some energy saving CPU managers 'trick' windows in to thinking it is running slower or faster than it reports. It may be you are seeing this (and the game is running too quickly). I have finding a workaround on my list, but it's a long list... Are you running on a v fast machine?

Are you talking about when you move your units, or during the AI turn?

Cheers

I just ordered the game and haven't done anything other than look around. I haven't had much time to play a game yet (still figuring out how win 8.1 works and getting stuff setup) so I'm talking about moving my units. And I just got this computer with AMD that's comparable an i3 so it's not super fast. Also, there's no problem with the first BA.

Edit: Damn. My fault. I was in setup mode. All is well with the unit movement. I did a printscreen and it wouldn't paste into paint. Anyhow, my definition of small is probably different from most people. I have cataracts that will be operated on in 1-2 months. But maybe it could be looked at as long as the game is still kind of in beta.
