Moving through an Occupied Square

Post by Gerry4321 »

Hello:

As I am playing with the demo and the unlocked scenario thereafter, I am struggling with this. It seems you cannot move infantry, or anything, through an occupied hex? Sometimes I want to move a unit, say Unit X, forward just so far and then move other units passed Unit X. But it does not seem possible? In causeways and such it can create major chokepoints.

Thanks,

Gerry

You cannot move units through an occupied tile. This is by design.

There is a 'Swap' function with the new BA2, does something similar...can't move through but will swap the position of two units next to each other...does cost movement points to swap. Some modders have added it to some BA mods but it is not a standard BA feature.

I think swap is a standard feature now in BA1 ...? but yes, it appears in many of the user scenarios as a function button for the units.
