Berbers

What would the 'waves of Berber Infantry' in the initial 8th century invasion of Spain have looked like ? Would they have been Moorish, Arabic or a mixture of both ?

Also can I assume they would be MF unprotected average undrilled -- LS -- in these rules ?

They may be MF offensive spearman not sure the light spear makes them viable enough to invade spain.
