Looking at the different grand campaign product pages I can use a core force form the last grand campaign or use a preset core force.
How strong is the preset core force and is it possible to do the later grand campaigns using the preset core force
Grand campaign preset core force?

Re: Grand campaign preset core force?
I must admit i usually don't use the preset core force as big part of my PC campaign enjoyment comes from nurturing my own core but at least in the early years the preset cores are OK. The composition of course is not to everyone liking but you can easily change it in the deployment phase after the first scenario anyway albeit at loss of some experience. This isn't that bad in the early years but may hurt if you do that in the post 43 DLCs. I never tried the later DLC with the preset core at all so i am not sure really but one could see that as additional challenge.
Additional problem will be that you will be missing the special hero units you can get now during the campaign. Unless of course they was added to the preset core after the update as well ... i haven't tested that i must admit.

The preset cores aren't that bad - but they won't be full of 5 star Rudels either.

You won't be starting the '45 campaign with Pz Is would you?best75 wrote:Is the preset core force the same everytime?
No ,the preset core seems to be as close to historically accurate as possible while still being playable.

Re: Grand campaign preset core force?
You are always much better off with your hand made force except you manage to srew the gameplay on the easiest setting. You will have
- more experience
- more heroes
- better units
and equally important for 43 to 45 - more money (prestige), in fact much more.
There is no point in using the preset core except additional challenge.
