Attachment Limits
So some attachments are given limits such as "one per division" I'm assuming this is meant to be read each division can have one rather than the army can have one per divsion and they can be put anywhere. Also, how does this interact with lists where you assign after deployment? I'm assuming you still have to follow the limits when you deploy them?

Up to one can be in a division, correct. It's not that you have 3 divisions so 3 attachments which could all be placed in one division.
Usually, in lists, attachments are listed at the bottom of each division if they can be attached after terrain. Then just make a note on the sheet as to where it went.

Re: Attachment Limits
Do they have to be bought per division though? As in, say I can buy an officer attachment per division and I only buy one, can it be put in any division when it's time to allocate it?

I have always assumed and followed the practice that attachments are purchased along with divisional troops as you organize your list into divisions. Can I just purchase an officer and then wait and see and stick him in any division? I don't think so, but I don't know if I can find something in the rules stating that. Maybe others will offer opinions.

As far as I remember, only if you are running an Anglo-Portuguese Corps in the Peninsula. Their attachments must adhere to divisional limits when purchased and assigned, but do not even have to be assigned to specific divisions until after all units have been deployed on table. So your single officer attachment would not have to be assigned to a specific unit until after all deployment was completed. I have found this a very powerful plus for the Anglo-Portuguese.Carriage wrote:Do they have to be bought per division though?
