1.5.2 Patch?

Re: 1.5.2 Patch?
Hey.
I'm new to this whole forum thing, but I thought I would give it a shot.
I bought the game the other day (in memory of the 100th anniversary of WWI) on my steam account, and I've been struggling with it. I've gone to the Steam forum, but I guess most people are having the same problem I am. The problem I'm having (and apparently many others) is that the AI are too overpowered. No matter what difficulty I play on (even handicapped), they trample over me.
When I attack Serbia, they repel my attack and conquer Budapest. When I attack Belgium and France, I can't even reach Antwerp. Even when I set production to infantry to get ready for the Eastern Front, the Russians (and the dozen units) annihilate my three German units. I just don't know what to do.
I've read the manual, watched online tutorials, and ensured I was playing on the easy difficulty (handicapped), but I keep getting my butt kicked. Most of the tutorials I've watch were posted a year ago, and the game seemed much easier. I'm not sure if it was just because it was an older version, but the AI seemed a lot less ... over daunting.
I'm a huge WWI fan and have been waiting all year for the 100th anniversary, so I wanted this game to be special. However, having my butt handed to me over and over despite all my research and tactics is really bumming me out. If someone could help me (by either giving me tips or a patch that lowers the AI's power), that would be much appreciated.

Re: 1.5.2 Patch?
First thing I would say, is have you tried playing as the Entente? If you think the game is unbalanced, then swapping to the side you consider to be more powerful should be your first step. If you also lose while as Entente, then it won't be the game, it'll be you, but that's not a bad thing as then all we need to do is help you learn what you're doing wrong. And if it's easier, well you'll get to learn the game with a bit more breathing space.
I've been playing as Entente, regular difficulty, and even on my first game I'm close to victory in late 1915 and never felt too pressured at any point. Maybe Entente is easier, but I don't have the experience yet to say by how much even if that's true. I'm looking forward to swapping to Central Powers and seeing how different that is, but I'm already of the opinion that in future Entente games I'll be going against privileged AI only, for the challenge. I'm a half-decent player of strategy games, but I'm no savant.
Would be happy to take you on in multiplayer, as either side, if you fancy learning with a human opponent.

Re: 1.5.2 Patch?
Quick feature request for next patch. On the production screen, could you please add unit level onto the graphic of the unit that will be produced? I can examine current units in the field, and see what level they are (and check to see if they can be upgraded), but it seems like the most obvious place to check what level a country can produce should be in the production screen itself.
It's the same picture in the production screen and the unit screen, but it's only badged with the tech level on the battlefield. Would be more consistent and more useful to have it be badged in both places.
