I think that as English, one should just mask the fortress with arquebusiers and move most of the pikes to bolster the centre. And try to encourage the Irish on the hill to anarchy charge down, as early as possible.

As Irish, I think the key is to coordinate the separate forces coming in. If they attack piecemeal, the better-quality English will eat them.
