Historical games

Post by WAMedic_slith »

Since I'm fairly new to the entire wargaming genre I figured I would ask all the experts out there for advice. I am a huge WW II buff....heck, I have "Nazi Mega Weapons" on PBS playing on my TV as we speak. If I'm looking for the most historically accurate WW II game/s out there that doesn't require tons of micromanaging (for example Men of War Assault Squad) which game/s should I be looking at??

I guess it would be helpful to include that I would probably lean towards the tactial/operational type game. I planned the original Close Combat game A LONG time ago and really enjoyed it.

You could jump back in to the latest version of Close Combat (out in June 2014) or check out Battle Academy for a turn based take on the setting.
