Kursk 1943 Campaign

I was thinking of starting the 1943 Campaign that comes with the vanilla copy of the game. Does anyone have any basic tips or suggestions.
I have realized that with less infantry, taking cities, especially the two on the northern side of the map can be a pain. Anyway to get around this?
Am I just not using my units correctly? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Artillery and Strategic Bombers should be quite useful to you in that case.
