Newbie question re planes iPad version
Hi all my planes have run out of ammo so I return them over friendly airfield but can't see a way to rearm them?
Am I missing something?

The re-arm the same way that they refuel - at the end of the turn

To be specific: an airplane that is above or adjacent to a friendly airfield will be re-armed en refuelled automatically at the start of the next turn. If there are enemy units adjacent to the airfield supply will be reduced. If your airplane is above an enemy airfield and hasn't moved yet, you can capture the airfield and use the 'supply' button to manually refuel/re-arm, but that will mean you cannot use the airplane anymore that turn.
There is an exception for Naval aircraft carriers: they can only refuel/re-arm fighters and tactical bombers that are right above them. Some scenarios make you start with no friendly airfields on land, so any strategic bomber you have cannot be refueled until you capture a land-based airfield; until that time, you will get the low fuel warning (red hexes) when selecting them. Since this can cause confusion I mention it to be sure.
So just move your airplanes on top of an airfield hex or right next to it, and next turn they should be supplied and ready to go.

- but occasionally worth doing if you are very low on fuel or out of ammo, as it guarantees your plane is serviceable next turn or if attacked before the automatic resupply.ThvN wrote:but that will mean you cannot use the airplane anymore that turn.
