Germany the only country paying maintenance

For a while I'd been wondering why Germany's production stats were so low, then I checked the management screen - Germany is the only country showing maintenance costs, all other countries have zero costs despite having active armies.

I hope the downloads mean that someone is handling this. It's a game-breaking problem because it means that you (and the AI) can build infinitely large armies.

Any updates on this? It pretty much means that the 1.42 patch has broken the game for me, so if there's a quick fix or if I'm misunderstanding something I'd love to know.

i too noticed that but if you build many unit from other country it tend to be the same,
my guess germany got many more armies than other because need to fight on two front.

in manuel they say it give every country 10 free maintenance point for help small country but country like england and france should pay some maintenance as well.

The free upkeep thing is not a bug,the free upkeep allowance was increased so that large countries like Germany & Russia could build enough land forces to protect their borders on 2 or 3 fronts at once.But since folks like to see maintenance cost's in the management screen,I have altered the settings for the up and coming patch,Free Upkeep Allowance is now 5 for all Countries,but since this is an advantage for smaller Nations,with less border area to protect,larger Nations like Germany,Austria,Turkey,France,Britain & Russia have been given more Manpower & Production points to compensate for the reduced Free Upkeep.
