I would have broken the mould as I was bringing my jacobites for the 25mm

OK, here's the 15mm R&R in my now standard order of receipt:

I'm hoping to be able to get the 25mm out in the next couple of days, but I can confirm no Swiss!

Well only a 1/3rd of the armies Samurai, could have been worse and several armies look like they have been designed to beat samurai, Tupi with HW, Maratha and Eastern woodland with musket, hard luck to the Chinese and those of us on horses I feel will run away till we get bored and then charge to death and glory

see you all next week, can't go as bad as my last competition with mounted

Is the 25mm comp still an odd number?

If so I can ease your worries by dropping out - house moving hassle...

No surprise, byron beat my 1st draft britcon Japanese (and yes it was very close to your suggestion, alasdair) ... In practice game a few weeks ago... My choice must be even more flawed for August as everyone else is post 1530ad for their choices... Mmmm... Another long manucian weekend ahead again this year :)

We've now posted up a venue map on the Roll Call Venue page on the BHGS website - we have so many players this year that we are spilling into additional classrooms so you will need to check where you are playing.

We are not bothering with the checkin queue either so after you arrive it's go to your room, find your opponent and get ready for a 9am kickoff (and then go and get a bacon buttie from the canteen!).

We should also get the draw posted up this week too - last few lists permitting.

As per Nigel's comments above, I thought the usual protocol was to keep club mates apart for at least the first round, so I get Byron also of Oxford.

Byron replaced Nigel as a manual edit to the entry list, so the spreadsheet has him down as playing for Solent (as per Nigel's original booking)

If he's an Oxford player we of course need to tweak the draw - we can do that no problem.

Would Ben vs Alasdair be a better first round game maybe :-0

Byron is an Oxford player as he lives with his mother in Witney. Although I suspect on visits to his father he may appear at Solent as well. The list of runners and riders above has him as Oxford.

As for me against Alasdair I suspect he would prefer not to have a Japanese for the first round :-)

The R&R is based on my information rather than the official entry data.

Ben, byron had my ticket as I can't make it.. Yes I'm Southampton, and yes byron is oxford... Of course why tweak unless your afraid byron will beat you ? :)

Oh, I do like banter when I'm not there to take the flak :)
