Question about horse speed reduction over time and/or injury

Post by SSLConf_UglyElmo »

When I first purchase a new team of horses they almost all have the same speed rating (green bar). However, as more races are raced, and some of the horses are injured, I have noticed the speed rating for the 4 of them (after healing up) are now different. I am wondering if there is some way heal the horse and have it maintain its original speed rating, or if I am missing something.

If the horses are aging due to injury, and thus slowing down, if I replace the entire team, will it help give the overall team a speed boost? For example: My inside lead horse is 3/4 green, my 2nd horse is 1/4 green, my 3rd horse is 1/2 green and my 4th horse is 1/4 green. If I sell this team, and buy the same type/quality of horse, will the 4 horses possibly be 3/4 green, 3/4 green, 3/4, green, 3/4 green?

I am trying to figure out why, my horses start out with a certain rating, but after a few races some have more speed than others on the team. I have purchased the veterinarian, does this help increase/regain their original speed after recovering from injury?

If horses are fully healed (displaying green bars) then they have the same stats as when you first purchase it, there are no deterioration over time. The bars' lenght is a measure of the speed supplied by every horse, final max speed is the sum of the four individual speed bars, and will only be reduced if some horse suffer damage.

Some horse teams have equal individual speeds to add, but usually some horses provide more speed than other, specially the innermost horse, "funalis", who used to be the most powerfull horse. This is why not all speed bars are equal.
