After patching to v1.41, on each start of the program via Steam, I receive a Windows UAC warning about computer modifications. It seems that on each start the new launch window loads new advertising.
Are you serious? I am close to uninstalling the game.
I paid for a game, not for a disruptive advertising campaign.

if you press the start bubble and type in UAC or "user account control" you can manage to what it will warn about.

There is a reason for UAC warnings.
I will rather uninstall this game than remove the useful warnings about computer modifications.

then upload the launcher.exe to virustotal if you want. a computer must use reg edits in the registry for all the files on your c: drive for things to work. its just a precautionary unless you have BSODS.

here, check this. the Pandora.exe was clean, and the autorun.exe that opens the launcher has this. https://www.virustotal.com/nb/file/44c9 ... 402810404/
it is far from a virus. just that norton doesnt have info on it to say anything better of it.

I did not say that the launcher contains a virus, only that it constantly modifies the computer.
I now found that this can be avoided by starting Pandora.exe directly:
\STEAM\SteamApps\common\Pandora\Binaries\Pandora.exe

Thanks for the new Hotfix that fixes the UAC warning!
I still do not like product advertising in a paid game though.
