Unit Palette for Custom Scenrios

I've created a custom equipment file located in the My Games folder and a custom scenario in the same location where I want to use some of the new equipment. However, when I launch the PC scenario editor it appears I can only see units from the vanilla equipment file which is located in the main PC directory. How do I get the units available for placement in the scenario editor to point to the equipment file in the My Games/Panzer Corps/Mods/My Mod directory where I have my custom campaign?

As I said when you asked something similar on another thread, GME is the best tool for this kind of work, and most other modders use it. My understanding is that the "My Games" file can only be used for new scenarios, not new equipment files and other stuff.

That is correct.
Load another install of PC and use that for your mods
or
write over the files

or use the GME
