I think most BGs are on roght track but not sure ref the various Lt Horse and the Optimates or Khazar types

I think I'd make the Sassanid Levies HF, Protected, Defensive Spearmen, Poor, Undrilled, assuming that by "levies" you're referring to the spearmen types, and not some even worse troops. Everything else seems pretty much on track.

Poor HF would do I guess but I thought if these Levies arent Mob how is

I'd reserve "Mob" for really bad (or badly armed) troops. While I don't subscribe to some of the arguments that have been advanced over the years that the Sassanid spearmen were better quality troops (or wore chainmail under their clothing), I do think their performance was adequate enough to warrant a Poor HF rating.

You get the choice in the Sassanid list - either Poor HF DSp or Mob - whichever interpretation you choose.

I would suspect the Maurikians might get counted as Lancesr with Bow* when the list comes out.

I think you will find them to be 1/2 Lancers and 1/2 Bowmen.
