You know you're really made it when third parties start selling markers for your game. :)

You could always get Litko Aero to custom make some markers. They do transparent blue, green, amber, gray, yellow.

I thought about that but Litko charges nearly 10USD per custom marker, ouch!

They may do a custom mix, just need to contact them about it. I can't see it costing more than US$10-$15 for a set of markers like the VVV ones.

I contacted Litko 1 weeks ago and they said they were going to knock something up and put on jims lab. Reckoned it would be there a week ago, nothing yet :(

VVV are also in the UK so much easier on postage etc

I'd ike to put in a good word for Justin at VVV. I have always had superb service from him, even posting me some shield transfers whilst the shop was shut and he was on holiday.

He has added mixed colours as an option for the markers. My set is ordered.

Currently I am using kiddies tiddly winks, but these new markers do look cool.

Buy some!!

I was speaking to Justin at Britcon last year - he was asking about what markers would be needed, so I am not surprised that these have been produced.

Look nice, I may well have to get some. The good thing about Justin is that he goes to most of the tournaments, so P&P can be very cheap :)

My VVV markers arrived from Justin today.

I went for the mixed colour option, i like them.

Yellowy greeny disrupted
Orange fragmented
deep red broken
blue ambush markers

Rather nice.

Not essential, but cool 8)

I was using coloured kiddies tiddly winks which are perfectly functional.

VVV markers are just cooler, and it's always nice to have a new toy 8)

Hi ,

a proposal from one of my friends Mathieu based oo the colors of the road code ( international and easy to remind it , I think )
green = Disr
orange = Frag
red = Brk

blue = Ambush
what do you think about that ?

regards

I use the same, as I did in 6th.

I've also got into the habit of putting down 2 markers for each type when it happens, then taking one marker off all BGs with two at the very end of the joint action phase. Then I know a BG can be rallied or bolstered next joint action phase; I'd forget when things happened otherwise.

Rgds,
Peter

My VVV counters arrived today. Very nice they are. Can't wait to make use of all the 'broken' ones on my army tomorrow. :lol:

My site now has medieval dead guys to go with the Roman & Greek era ones!!

They're all free too - unless you go and buy some real ones yourself !!
