Morale Recovery Rates

All,

Does anyone know if this Is this a column in squads, controlled somewhere else, or is this just a random effect?

It is part of the scripting. Done in the StartTurn function for units in DATA/BATTLE/SCRIPTS/STARTTURN.BSF

overloadable in custom campaigns.

Ah, so not really so alterable based on a unit by unit basis for a Campaign. Unless you want to write a lotta script. :)

Suggestion for BA2 (though it may be a tad late) is to have this in Squads as a Column (perhaps a rate variable by a random + or - 10%). This would reflect that some units, based on training (not just promotion "in game"), are better able to recover from Suppression and Demoralization in Combat. For example Guards, Fallschirmjagers or Gebirgsjagers as opposed to Osttroopen or Conscripts.
