For Alpha Centauri fanatics: forum and French translation

Hello there fellow SMAC fanatics!
(I guess there is quite a bunch of us here)

First thing first, I'd like to point you to an excellent forum made by SMACers for SMACers about your favourite game:

There you can find my last work on this game, namely the first full translation archive to turn your whatever language Alpha Centauri + Alien Crossfire to a fully French one, including videos! (yeah, those epic videos, in French, for the first time EVAR!!)

(the opening post is in French, but I respond in English or French depending of which language your more comfortable with)

To avoid future misunderstanding: these archives are of no use if you already own a French version of Alpha Centauri.
Its purpose is to turn an English (or whatever) version of SMAC to a French one.
Windows and GNU/Linux versions are provided, with a Mac OS one being on the rails… (might take some time, I tend to be quite lazy, and I'm working without a Mac computer)

I'd prefer feedback to be provided on the AC2 forums (I check them on a daily basis), but your inquiries here on Slitherine's forums won't go unanswered

They're also no use for Pendora game, I was deceived by the title of this thread on this Pendora forum.
You should easily work on a translation for Pendora game:

Sadly, I'm not a translator.
I've merely hunted downed the needed files, did a bit of transcoding for the videos and compiled everything in an easy-to-use pack.

The real credit should go to the French translation team: Jean-Luc Chabrier, Nathalie Marlier & Jean-Claude Ducerf.
