Screwed the pooch...

Failed miserably at the latest update to 1.3.2: everything was working swimmingly but after upgrade every time I tried to start a game the launcher dropped me to the desktop. So Mr. Brilliant thought I'd just go back to 1.2 so I reinstalled. That's when the fun really began...Help...I've fallen and I can't get up. Launcher looks like it installed properly indicating 1.3.2 but game won't start nor will it me set options or anything.

Check if you have pandoraserver.exe in your directory. Be sure it's the .exe, because you should have
two pandoraserver files, one the .exe, the other a debug file. In my case, pandoraserver.exe kept disappearing
and the game wouldn't start.

Tracked it down to norton anti-virus, which was calling pandoraserver.exe a high-risk file and quarantining it.

I'll wait for the Steam version before I try again.

Went hat in hand to Matrix and asked to install from scratch. That solved it! Thanks for the suggestion though…coincidentally I do have Norton anti-virus as my security so it may have been the culprit, but I can't say at this point. Live and learn as they say...
