Custom Effects

Hi.

I would like to make custom effects. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Sometimes, I actually see some "tracer flashes" from attacker to target (like projectiles moving at fast speeds). Those are effects right?

Can I use models in effects?

I don't think we have ever released the particle editor - it's very rough indeed and quite hard to use. The tracers are specifically driven from the animation files (using the custom triggers) but IIRC I discovered that the ones in BA are broken and less flexible that designed when I was working on them the other day for BA2.

I will see what documentation we have for the particle system.

I suppose this is compatible with BA2? I have availed of the EAP.
