If it didn't have the many-hundred new units, I might actually have been able to play this before thinking up another good idea to use against it in the mod war!

Wait, I thought of an idea! I will PM you it.

The stormtroopers arent' screwing this up, they're moving your way as I post this, as it is taking a very long time for 1 scenario's briefing

I had some very busy real life days so I could barely give the finishing touches to v1.3, but here is comes. Most likely I will have little time for PzC during the days to come, but now I am mostly happy with the mod as it is, so possible further updates will come sparingly.

Changes in v1.3

- multipurpose U-boats added: following iceFlame's original idea submarines now have three modes: surfaced, submerged and dived (to crash depth)
- RumpNissen's updated flags added
- AA capability of tanks and AFVs is removed (following Uhu's idea): historically AA machine guns on tanks were rarely used as intended (against the much heavier armed aircraft), instead they were mainly used against ground targets
- Operation Anvil - the Allied landing in Southern France is added. Condition: Tunis and Sicily must be owned by the Allies, date must be August '44 or later
- several new or modified units added
- campaign ending sound & vision enhanced
- various other changes and fixes in scenario 4 and in the equipment file

Conguratulations on the patch! (or more realistically, creating a minor problem for my stormtroopers in this new mod war)

Guille, Congratulations on getting 1000 posts - except that I will probably beat you to 1500! (You apparently do 1.5 posts/day, I do 2.5)

Nope. It was definetly the stormtroopers.

You're wrong there - I sent the stormtroopers to LandMarine's place because he's being really slow with GC'14's briefings.

Thanks for the update! :D

In all honesty, this is a masterful mod so I just want to thank you again for sharing this 'work of art' with the community. Cheers for including the multipurpose U-boats and I hope real life treats you well.

Take care my friend. :)

Hi mates,

This last two weeks I ve been playing de 1.2 version. Its been great. I like the map, the new units (tons of them!) and the "events" (Operation Torch for example, as being a serious backstabbing problem). Thanks a lot for your efforts as modder, McGuba.

On the other hand, I ve been completely smashed in less than 50 turns, with no subs or planes left. North Africa belongs to the allies and i couldn't even take Malta. Guess General difficulty is too much for me :?

I ll try again in a few weeks.

On Rommel, and last time without additional gift-prestige. ;)
I think, the absolute proof would be the replay file, but maybe from a strategic guide, also much can be learnt.
But the key world is patience, endurance and very focused planning because without planning and managing 200+ units in every turn the operations will be unsuccessful. Hmm, I would also add to look constant the PzC Edit tool, because in it you can easy look all stats of units and the possible arrival of the given type.

This mod seems to be very heavily realistic (my mods are usually quite abstracted) - of course it was hard. I might have a crack of it on Sergeant (I usually play on Lieutenant) - depends how long it takes for certain briefings and 18th-century-city graphics to be made!

So far that has been forever - I was thinking of offering a truce, but I need to become dominant first! (Without those graphics, I'm kinda wasting my time a bit)
