passing through and artillery

Post by pugsville »

Skimirshes don't stop passing through, (they evade to create room for pass through) surely the same should apply to limbered artillery?

Also worth noting is that retiring troops cannot slide to avoid bursting through skirmishers or unlimbered artillery, but go straight through them forcing a CT for being burst through.

They stop cavalry pass-throughs at the moment....although it's an expensive way of doing so.
It's a pretty rare situation, and may not be worthy of an amendment, however, if I was to make a change it would be to force the artillery to take a test - to abandon the guns if they fail, or to stop the pass-through if they pass. Unlike Skirmishers they don't have to automatically evade (or abandon the guns).
