Get the latest iOS version-READ ME FIRST!

Hi guys,

welcome to the beta test! Thanks for taking part - we really appreciate all the feedback. Please make sure all your feedback is posted to this forum and not in the public forums.

The iPad beta will use Testflight to deliver the latest beta directly to your iPad, as well as automatically providing us with crash logs should anything go wrong. It is very simple to use, and removes the hassles of provisioning files, or manual installing of builds via iTunes.

This is best done from the iPad or iPhone you are going to be testing on (the one you have provided us the UDID for).

1 - Go to http://www.testflightapp.com and Sign Up. Please do this as soon as possible so you are ready when the build arrives!
2 - Once you are logged in, you need to register your device. This will open a small install confirmation window in iOS. Install and you will then be set up to use Testflight.
3 - When the game is available you'll be notified by email. You should click on the "Accept" invitation button but you must do it on your device. This means you need to to be reading the mail on your iPad/iPhone. You can do this via web mail or normal mail but it must be on the iPad/iPhone. When complete you will be able to download the Beta via either the webpage on your device, or just start the TestFlight app and it will list any builds available.
4 - Select the Beta build, and install it. It will download and install directly to your iPad.

If you already had a previous version installed, you need to uninstall the old build or go to Options/Profile/ and choose Reset Profile.

Any crash logs etc should be sent automatically to us, aiding in tracking down any problems that may occur.

I've just an email saying the latest version is ready. When I go to test flight nothing is there ? This is the first time I've used this but I've setup it as per instructions. Help!

Hi guys,

There is a new beta build available on Testflight.
The change log for the build:
- New splash screen art
- In-App Purchase system. Players can now buy Mission Packs from within the game.
- Added main menu snow effect
- Two new translations : Russian, Italian
- End game scene (after finishing Vistula)
- Credits scene
- Bug fixing
- Improved some textures quality (within memory limit)

Hey I just traded in my ipad 2 for my iPad Air. Anyways I'm registered but it doesn't say there's a build for me to DL... I'm assuming because of the UDID. Do you want me to send it over to you guys?

Unfortunately there is no way to change a UDID once added - thanks Apple. As the game is basically complete now there isn't going to be another batch of testers so unfortunately you wont be able to play now until it releases.

Dammit I really wanted to put some input into it... Apple seriously won't let you take in another UDID? Is it some rule for beta testes? What if I just registered under a different e-mail etc? Things I wanted to see was comparison to Conflict of Heroes maybe Ruse etc... I gave my new UDID to one of the other slitherine guys involved and was just hoping to be able to get the build through that.

Its really tightly locked. 100 UDID's per year is all we are allowed for testing. Once per year you can update a UDID but we save that and do a clear out once per year to rest it. Even when you change the UDID you still have to rebuild the provisioning file and rebuild the game as well to add it in so its a major pain to deal with.
