Just got the Game

Post by demyansk »

Hi Guys,

Just bought the game and mega pack, I was wondering if a patch will be needed or what is the current version, I'll look around

Okay I looked around and it looks like the 2.60 is the latest version. This game looks good, whar do you guys suggest for a multiplayer match?

Welcome to BA! All the MP maps are good, really depends on personal preference and style. There is a solid MP community so as soon as you post some games they should be picked up. Good luck!

Start small,..try Desert Fort. Play from both sides.
Don't get frustrated if you lose a few,..or many games in the beginning.
There are some "game-specific" things you'll need to learn.

The Allies should always win,...however,...it is possible to win as the Germans if played right.

Welcome...I can only second what has been said before. There are many good MP maps and players. And Gort is the king of Desert Fort!

If you want to hone your skills before you enter multiplayer, you should try the 3 main campaigns on the hardest difficulty! The AI is brutal!

Thanks for your assistance. I will try the campaigns in the game and then go from there. Does this game have a lot of user made scenarios?

Many, many scenarios. Quite a few for solo play, but many more than that for Multiplayer.
I think the best way to describe our operations to date is that they have violated every recognized principle of war.
