Unfortunately, as with RTT' 42 I am also withdrawing form GJS 44. My schedule is just to long, and I'll only prolong the tournament. I'm sure there are other who want a chance to fight the tournament more than me. For all the games I've picked up, I'll try to finish them, but they will no longer be official.

Question to the GM: If we can get P-diddy to confirm that there are only 5 turns remaining (does he mean then they were on Turn # 8 displayed?), and the foe is wiped out and he can show screen shots, should that not be considered a concluded game, if his opponent walked away? I think a restart would be a reward to the Germans for their man having walked away from the fight.. food for thought

I confirm this outcome. I thought it was about the best the allies could do, actually, on this map heh.
However, Pete used the correct tactics on me to take away the 5pt base flag and hold Fortress Benouville from our final onslaught.

Valid point well made when Rommel buggered off from North Africa nobody realistically said can Montgomery pull back to his start point and we will go again if a commander retreats he takes his force with him.
