Now waited nearly a week for LandLady to take his move just because he is heading for an inglorious defeat that will forever live on in the land of BA forums (seems Caen is a distant memory now) and as for Random, all he has to do is take his final turn............I must really irk these German peasants if they are withholding my victories so dearly, now come on chaps and lets stop the petty tactical withdrawal and take our bloody moves.

My last turn is done , i lost just for one move of one tile :(
It was a great fight, really good battle with some attacks and counter attacks.
A great use of smokes from my opponent

Can confirm battle has commenced at Hillman Battery, the market garden at Abbaye is looking good too.

I can confirm battle against Random at Hillman is complete.

Allied victory 13-4

Damn good battle, swaying to and fro and Random was only one square away from securing a 9-8 victory but my HG unit stood firm. I am abit surprised his panzer was able to sneak past my engineer unit to steal a flag at the end though, little blighter.

Now just awaiting Landlady concluding our battle then I'm complete. From what I understand he is going through an extended gestation period and we all know how those cloud women minds, he obviously wants clear thinking going into battle.

Thankyou for a damn good battle Random.

Having just read land marines comments on RTT I am assuming his interests lie elsewhere. There are guys showing an interest on RTT could they take up his games?

Glenghiscan just PMed me, and I responded. The first step in really determining interest is whether a player actually PMs me or not. ;) The second step is really describing the Campaign and seeing if it is their cup of tea. Some folks really just want to play in a points tourney, not a Campaign like this (where you can get destroyed completely, despite your best efforts). The final step is to see if they are prepared to make the commitment regarding deadlines and pace of play in-battle.
I think the best way to describe our operations to date is that they have violated every recognized principle of war.

If He doesn'trespond to your turns, I'll be happy to pick up a new game from you in Abbey so you can keep rolling along.

Yes, I need some clever opponent to take my offered Bayeux game which should have been against LM but he does not seem to have the time.

Who wants it?

Unfortunately, as with RTT' 42 I am also withdrawing form GJS 44. My schedule is just to long, and I'll only prolong the tournament. I'm sure there are other who want a chance to fight the tournament more than me. For all the games I've picked up, I'll try to finish them, but they will no longer be official.

Sorry for this everyone, perhaps when I get time, and no ones taken my place, I'll fight again  :(

I am happy to pick up some games if you need another player, so long as someone can show me where the maps are and talk me through the tournament status.

Am enjoying the RTT tourney and with a week's holiday, can commit to the necessary game rate.
