Ambushes

Just reading the ambushing section and a couple of queries come to mind.

1. "Battle Groups can only ambush in terrain they could move in". Does that mean Hvy Artillery cannot ambush?

2. "When an ambush is revealed, place a base entirely on top of the ambush marker...." Does this mean BWg cannot ambush?

I think the reply in both cases is yes, they can, if they are in terrain they can move in and are not visible from the opponent's deployment area, though I think the terrain placement would have to be such that they could be hidden behind things like large hills or forests etc

1. Clearly as there is no terrain that Hvy Art can move in, it cannot ambush. Presumably the noise made dragging it into position during the night would give it away.

2. Your logic is inescapable here too. Suspicious wheel ruts?

Whether this was intended is moot. At one stage in the beta testing, ambush markers were 40 mm x 40 mm which meant you could not ambush at all if using 25 mm figures on 60 mm wide bases. I believe this issue was addressed, but apparently not for BWg. Was this intentional or was it an oversight?
